Description:
Abstract: This dataset contains 6th level HUCs for the Middle Rockies Ecoregion. For each HUC, size of riparian cooridors were calculated. Categorical values based on percent of cropland, percent natural landcover, and percent of impervious per area of riparian corridor were also calculated. Categorical values were assigned based on key ecological attributes table. Overall status of the riparian corridor in the ecoregion was calculated by summing the threat layers values. This dataset is intended to be used at the ecoregion level.
Purpose: This dataset was created for use in the BLM REA threat assesment of Riparian areas in the Middle Rockies Ecoregion.
